Warehouse Manager

A Pharmaceutical company are looking for a Logistics & Warehouse Operations Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting time to join a Multi-National Pharmaceutical company and would ideally suit an experienced Warehouse Manager looking to progress in their career.

Warehouse Manager – Role and Responsibilities:

• Translate the strategy developed by the VP Manufacturing and Supply Chain for the warehouse and logistics operations for the assigned site(s) into an annual operational plan for the site/location
• Agree service standards and levels, KPIs to deliver on, on a monthly basis
• Ensure the right level and amount of resources for the site/location team to deliver on the objectives, KPIs and agreed service standards
• Ensure the warehouse layout and function is designed to provide the most efficient flow of work and projects through the facility
• ensure operational excellence, process effectiveness and to drive the right business behaviours and results
• Build and manage a high-performing, collaborative team that works in line with the Group’s values at all times

Warehouse Manager – Candidate Requirements:

• Experience of operating in a similar role is essential
• CMI Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) is highly desirable although not essential depending on experience
• Strong, up to date knowledge of cGMP
• Confident dealing with managers and employees at all levels
• Experience working in pharmaceutical/ healthcare/ life science industry advantageous

Salary for this position will be circa £50,000 – £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
