Qualifications

A degree is usually preferred, however not essential. Experience in marketing methods and campaign management is necessary to meet the demands of the business and sales objectives. In some cases, you may be required to have experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

What’s expected

The job role can be varied depending on your position in the company. As a marketing assistant you’ll be involved in assisting the marketing manager in the delivery of campaigns and marketing materials across a portfolio of products and promotional products.

As marketing manager, your attention will be focused on developing and implementing strategies in line with company objectives and the brand to generate customer awareness of pharmaceutical products and increase profitability.

Salary expectation

Marketing Assistant – £25-£28k

Marketing Executive – £28-£35k

Marketing Manager – £35-£60k

Marketing Director – £70k+
